Senior Bid Coordinator – Industrial Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear Siemens Industry is looking for a Bid Coordinator to support the Raleigh market. This person will support the sales team for that geography. The successful candidate will review requests from customers, sales engineers, and other bid coordinators. They will also work with the business unit. This person reports to the Sales Manager and will have no direct reports.

We are looking for a Senior Bid Coordinator – Industrial Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear This position can reside in Atlanta, Georgia or Raleigh, North Carolina (Remote with proximity to either of these metro areas) Role Description
- Sales Force Coordination: Drive team to use the Sales CRM tool and keep their opportunities updated.
- Support assigned account managers with requested pricing & quotations from Compass quotation tool.
- Schedule bid meetings per manager’s request/facilitate by review of open Sales Force opportunities.
- Strive to bid over $7.5M in quotes in a given month in the first year.
- Obtain Buyout Quotes from MAP group.
- Monitor and track relevant bid opportunities
- Review & summarize bid request documents (RFPs, RFQs etc.) to share pertinent information with team
- Coordinate schedules and approvals for actions supporting bid opportunities
- Problem solving to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure timely proposal completion.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in engineering is strongly desired
- Bid Coordinators must have 3+ years of hands-on working proficiency with low/medium voltage products OR Bid Coordinators must have 5+ years of hands-on working proficiency with low/medium voltage products OR
- 2+ years of bid proposal and quoting of engineered and made to order switchgear equipment OR 5+ years of bid proposal and quoting of engineered and made to order switchgear equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of CRM knowledge or usage for project tracking
