Commissioning Engineer High Voltage – Expert level

Your opportunity

Do you want to play a key role in commissioning complex high-voltage installations? As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you are the expert who delivers projects safely and reliably. You test, configure, and supervise systems from start-up through handover to the customer, thereby having a direct impact.

What you will do

• Commissioning and testing of secondary systems and auxiliary power supply systems.
• Inspecting control panels, PAC systems, and protection relays (IEDs).
• Supporting FAT, SAT, and SIT testing and performing quality checks.
• Preparing test plans, documenting punch list items, and producing as-built documentation.
• Coordinating the handover of installations to the customer.
• Working closely with engineering teams, project teams, and customers.

Where you will work

You will work in a maritime engineering environment involved in the design of advanced vessels such as superyachts, naval ships, and offshore vessels. Engineering teams are involved throughout the design phase, combining strong technical expertise with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

What do you bring?

• An MBO-4 or HBO degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, industrial automation, or a comparable field.
• At least 8 years of experience with secondary systems and PAC installations in high-voltage environments.
• Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, and high-voltage components.
• Certifications such as VCA-VOL, BEI-BLS, or BEI-BHS are an advantage.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
