Expert Engineer

Key Responsibilities for this Expert Engineer position:

Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to identify, and formulate, power system/grid-tied inverter control requirements.Proactively engage with local grid operators, suppliers, and consumers to formulate internal technical reports on the latest industry developments.Investigate state-of-the-art power system and grid-tied inverter control technologies to identify technical trends likely to impact future power system & inverter technologies.Work collaboratively with standards organizations to influence the latest grid code changes and keep up to date with the latest standards for Solar PV/Energy Storage.

Key Requirements:

Extensive knowledge, and expertise, across various power generation, transmission, and distribution scenarios.Expert-level knowledge of power grid stability-related technologies and grid-tied inverter control technologies.Previous experience working with both national and international standards organizations/bodies.Proven track record with new technology development initiatives/innovations within the power system domain.Strong relevant publication track record.
