Huawei Electrical Engineer – Photovoltaic Systems

Overview:
We are seeking a skilledHuawei Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in commissioning, configuring, and troubleshooting Huawei C&I (Commercial & Industrial) inverters and related systems. The ideal candidate is an experienced electrician who understands the full lifecycle of Huawei photovoltaic solutions, including inverters, smart boxes, batteries, and auxiliary components, ensuring smooth implementation and optimal performance of solar PV projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission, configure, and troubleshoot Huawei C&I inverters (SUN2000 series and related models) for photovoltaic systems.
- Install, integrate, and maintain Huawei Smart Power Controllers, SmartLoggers, Smart String ESS, and Smart Boxes.
- Oversee electrical installation and ensure correct wiring, grounding, and protection in compliance with project design and safety regulations.
- Perform system diagnostics, firmware updates, parameter settings, and connectivity checks (LAN/RS485/4G).
- Commission and integrate battery storage systems (LUNA2000 or third-party integrated with Huawei).
- Ensure proper synchronization and safe interconnection with the grid and backup systems.
- Conduct performance testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution on-site.
- Provide technical support during handover and train clients/partners on system operation.
- Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain compliance with national electrical codes, Huawei standards, and project documentation requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certified Electrician / Electrical Engineer (degree or equivalent qualification).
- Proven hands-on experience with Huawei C&I inverters and accessories (at least 2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of photovoltaic system design, AC/DC wiring, communication protocols, and safety standards.
- Knowledge of energy storage integration and hybrid systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on-site.
- Familiarity with grid codes, ANRE standards (if Romania-based), or equivalent local regulations.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Huawei certification (FusionSolar, SUN2000 commissioning, etc.) is a strong advantage.
- English proficiency (technical documentation) – required.
