Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Electrical Engineer role based in Houston, TX. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and execution of substation-related projects. Responsibilities include developing electrical designs, analyzing power systems, overseeing power distribution networks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering high-quality technical solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering principles
• Comprehensive understanding of Electricity and Power Systems
• Experience with Power Distribution in substation design and operation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in engineering software tools and industry standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior team members
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
