What You Will Do

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure EDPR NA power plants comply with NERC PRC and MOD Reliability Standards by preparing, reviewing, and submitting generator models.
  • Provide NERC Compliance support for various NERC standards, including PRC-019, PRC-023, PRC-024, and others.
  • Manage power system modeling software (PSCAD, PSS/E, TSAT, etc.) and conduct onsite and remote testing.
  • Oversee compliance activities and work with OEMs and service providers.
  • Conduct studies for new technologies like inverters and wind turbines.

Employment Type

Full Time – Hybrid (Houston, TX)

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in power systems modeling, NERC compliance, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of power system simulation software and experience with NERC Compliance studies.

Travel:

Up to 20%
