India, Gujarat: Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commissioned a 50 MW solar power project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat through its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five.

The company said the project began commercial operations on 1 June 2026 after securing all required approvals and regulatory clearances. The latest addition is part of AGEL’s continued expansion at the Khavda site, which is among the world’s largest renewable energy developments.

Following the commissioning of the new facility, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has risen to 19,835.8 MW.

The Khavda Renewable Energy Park remains a central element of AGEL’s long-term growth plans. The project is expected to contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy goals and support the country’s transition towards cleaner sources of power.

AGEL continues to grow its portfolio of solar, wind and hybrid energy projects across India as part of its strategy to provide sustainable energy solutions and help advance national decarbonisation efforts.

The commissioning of the 50 MW solar project highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding renewable energy infrastructure and speeding up the deployment of large-scale clean energy developments across the country.
