USA, Virginia, Bristol: Electro-Mechanical, LLC, a US manufacturer of medium-voltage switchgear and electrical apparatus, has announced the acquisition of Powercon Corporation, a long-established provider of custom-designed medium-voltage switchgear, e-houses, and modular substation systems.
Founded in 1959, Powercon brings more than 65 years of engineering expertise in power distribution and control solutions. The acquisition will expand Electro-Mechanical’s capabilities across utility, data centre, and critical infrastructure applications, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and customer service.
