India / Egypt: S&S Power Switchgears Limited has announced a significant international milestone for its wholly owned subsidiary, Hamilton Research & Technology Private Limited (HART), which has secured a $3.4 M (₹30 crore) contract from Giza Systems Free Zone in Egypt.
Under the Letter of Intent (LOI), HART will deliver a Pot Control System along with related automation technologies designed for aluminium smelter operations. The project is expected to begin within the current financial year and run for 36 months.
The contract is among HART’s largest international orders to date, signalling the company’s growing presence in the global industrial technology and automation sectors. The system’s deployment will enhance operational efficiency and process control at aluminium production facilities, reinforcing HART’s reputation for advanced engineering solutions.
According to company disclosures made under Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations, the agreement does not involve any related-party transactions, and no promoters or promoter group members hold a stake in Giza Systems Free Zone.
The new deal is expected to further strengthen S&S Power Switchgears’ global market footprint, particularly in the industrial automation and smelter technology segment. Industry observers have noted that the contract could contribute positively to the company’s long-term financial outlook as demand for energy-efficient, automated systems continues to rise.
The firm’s stock performance has reflected steady investor confidence, showing a 12.7 % monthly increase and over 1,000 % growth in five years, underscoring sustained market interest in the company’s expansion strategy.
