China, Jiangshan: Kerun Intelligent Control has launched integrated transformer and substation solutions for AI data centres, cloud facilities and high-density computing infrastructure.

The solution is designed for demanding environments such as the Middle East, where high temperatures, heavy electrical loads and continuous operation place additional pressure on power infrastructure.

Kerun’s integrated system combines transformers, prefabricated substations, switchgear and intelligent monitoring. The company said the solution is intended to help data centre developers, EPC contractors and infrastructure operators build reliable and scalable power systems for mission-critical facilities.

AI data centres and high-density computing sites face electrical challenges including nonlinear loads, harmonic interference, rising power density and continuous high-temperature operation. In hot-climate regions, transformer thermal performance, fire safety and long-term reliability become particularly important.

The solution includes K-Factor harmonic-resistant transformer design, which is aimed at server clusters and high-harmonic environments. It also offers an FR3 vegetable oil-based insulating fluid option to support fire safety, thermal performance and overload tolerance.

Other features include high-efficiency power distribution, intelligent monitoring and detection, redundancy support for critical loads, and engineering customisation based on voltage level, climate, installation environment and project requirements.

“Data centers in high-temperature environments require power systems that can deliver stability, safety and efficiency under continuous operating pressure,” said Mr Wang, General Manager of Kerun.

Kerun said the solution supports the expansion of AI, cloud services and digital infrastructure across hot-climate regions. Beyond data centre applications, the company also serves utility, industrial, renewable energy and long-distance power transmission sectors.
