USA: LS ELECTRIC has expanded a contract with a North American big-tech company to supply AI data centre power infrastructure worth $165.72 M (KRW 230.9 B).
The revised order more than doubles the value of a contract signed in June, after the customer requested additional equipment.
The original agreement covered 38 kV high-voltage distribution systems worth $70.43 M (KRW 106.4 B). The contract runs from 8 June 2026 to 30 January 2027.
LS ELECTRIC said the additional order reflects the company’s ability to meet the quality and delivery requirements of global big-tech customers.
The company is also strengthening its North American production base through facilities including LS ELECTRIC Utah and the Bastrop Campus in Texas, supporting local manufacturing, supply-chain stability and shorter delivery times.
The latest contract forms part of LS ELECTRIC’s broader push into the AI data centre power market, where demand for high-capacity distribution systems is growing rapidly.
The company also plans to expand its offering into next-generation DC distribution systems for data centres.
An LS ELECTRIC representative said the company intends to build on its existing project experience and strengthen its position as a key supplier to global big-tech customers.
