Germany, Essen: Sandra Dettmer will join the Management Board of RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on 1 April 2026. This newly created role strengthens RWE’s management focus on its expanding portfolio of onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects across Europe and Australia.
In her new position, Dettmer will oversee Engineering, Construction and Operation of wind, solar and battery parks, as well as Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards. She will join CEO Sopna Sury and CFO Simon Bockmühl on the management board. Dettmer most recently served as Director of Construction at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia.
