India: ABB India has introduced ArTu Formula, a new low voltage switchgear solution designed to meet the growing power distribution needs of industrial facilities, critical infrastructure, and commercial and residential buildings.

Part of ABB’s India Electrification portfolio, ArTu Formula is fully compliant with IEC 61439 Parts 1 and 2 and IEC 61641, ensuring high safety standards, reliable performance, and system integrity. The solution supports India’s expanding power infrastructure while contributing to domestic manufacturing under the Make in India initiative.

Engineered for both simplicity and versatility, ArTu Formula is suitable for applications such as power distribution systems, motor control centres, and sub-distribution boards. Its modular design allows for easier integration, optimised use of space, and simplified maintenance, making it practical for a wide range of users.

Kiran Dutt, President of Electrification at ABB India, said, “The launch of ArTu Formula is an important advancement in low voltage switchgear technology. It reflects ABB’s commitment to supporting India’s infrastructure development and industrial growth.”

The new switchgear complements ABB’s broader electrification ecosystem, which includes air circuit breakers, moulded case circuit breakers, motor starters, switches, disconnectors, and digital solutions such as Lite Panel Pro. Together, these offerings deliver improved protection, better monitoring and control, and increased operational efficiency across sectors.

ArTu Formula positions ABB India to meet the evolving energy demands of a modernising economy while supporting safe, efficient, and reliable power distribution for businesses and communities alike.
