Spain: Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Energía Sistemas, has secured two infrastructure contracts in Spain from Capital Energy for onshore wind developments in the Castile and León region. Together, the contracts are valued at more than $94 M (€80 M) and cover electrical works for wind farms with a combined installed capacity of 270 MW.

The larger of the two contracts, worth close to $63 M (€53 M), relates to the Terrer wind farm complex. The works include building a transformer substation and installing a high-voltage overhead transmission line. This infrastructure will allow electricity to be evacuated from the Pedrecha, San Cristóbal and Cabezuelas wind farms, which together account for around 150 MW of capacity. Completion is planned for 2027.

The second contract, valued at $31 M (€27 M), concerns the Canales Sur wind farm, which will have an installed capacity of 120 MW. Under this agreement, Eiffage Energía Sistemas will carry out the engineering, supply, construction and commissioning of the electrical installations. The scope includes a transformer substation as well as an underground high-voltage transmission line. This project is also expected to be finalised in 2027.
