This strategic merger has opened doors to new markets, particularly in Europe, the United States, and Australia. Hitachi Energy‘s established presence in Europe has been pivotal in eks Energy‘s expansion, allowing it to strengthen its foothold in existing markets whilst exploring fresh commercial opportunities globally.

Massimo Danieli, Managing Director of Hitachi Energy Grid Automation, highlighted the synergies created by this collaboration. The joint effort has accelerated innovation in power electronics, enabling greater integration of solar energy into the grid and unlocking new market potential worldwide.

The partnership has already yielded impressive results, as evidenced by projects like the Toftlund BESS in Denmark and the Waratah Super Battery in Australia.
