R&B Switchgear appoints David Johnston head
Engineering veteran David Johnston to lead oil & gas projects, driving innovation and expanding low and high-voltage power solutions.

UK: R&B Switchgear Group has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of David Johnston as head of projects (oil & gas), as the company targets further growth in the energy sector.
Johnston brings over 30 years of experience in engineering, service leadership and operational transformation. He began his career at Reyrolle and later held senior positions, including UK head of service contracts at Siemens.
In his new role, Johnston will oversee the expansion of R&B Switchgear’s oil and gas projects portfolio from its Heywood base, managing the delivery of low and high-voltage power distribution solutions and supporting the development of new service offerings.
